T.I.P.S.

  • Lightbulb Students must be able to compare and order two decimal numbers to the thousandths place and then represent that comparison using the symbols <, >, or =.

Example

  • While playing for the New York Yankees in 2012, Ichiro Suzuki had a batting average of 0.322 and an on base percentage of 0.34. List these percentages from greatest to least, write your comparison using <, >, or =, and explain your thinking.
